Conversations With Demons is a webcomic about the denizens who work in Heaven and Hell. For them, your daily torment or salvation is a nine to five job.

I originally conceived of the cast of characters independent of any particular setting. I was sitting in Philosophy 101 taking notes on Descartes Deus deceptor, also known as the evil demon.
According to this theory, nothing but Descartes himself, everything is the work of an omnipotent evil demon. I found myself thinking, what if the demon was a happy chubby fellow whose job was just that, nothing personal. Ed was drawn first during that three hour long lecture (sorry prof, but I did pass) and his friends soon followed, some based on other philosophical concepts.

These characters squatted in my brain refusing to pay rent for ten years now. For a couples of those years I’ve known that I wanted to feature them in some comics, yet those whole thing seemed pretty daunting. But there’s something about an existential crisis that makes you throw caution to the wind, so here we are.
